London Fashion Week S/S 2009 recap

Sorry, this is quite late, seeing as it is already half way through Milan Fashion Week! But better late than never. This time I’ve only got four collections for you, one of them is a mixture of different ones.

Lots of semi circles, chiffon and peachy colours from Christopher Kane this season. I really like the leopard print cardigans at the beginning of the collection (third picture). Also, the tuxedo made of semi circles is great for its originality.

Neutral colours, pretty ruffles and 21st century flapper dresses. Although the second dress seems more like an a/w dress, because it reminds me of icicles!

It was love at first sight when I saw this stunning collection of cocktail dresses. Beautiful dresses in all shades of pink, peach and orange were covered in jewels and crystals.

Luella has been my favourite designer for the past two collections, and she has managed to retain her title. All the flirty florals and pretty pearls make me want it to be summer again! I love the entire collection and it was a challenge to pick only 4 pictures! If you like these 4, I highly recommend checking out the rest of the collection.

Here are 4 pictures from random collections that I liked. A unique and interesting take on the white shirt from Ana Sekularac. Betty Jackson does cute and simple with a shirt and skirt. A quirky idea that I’m surprised nobody thought of before shows that Ashish is a designer to watch. Amanda Wakeley always does gorgeous red-carpet dresses, and this silk orange one is amazing.
