London Diaries – Katy Perry at the MTV EMAs

On Thursday night, the English city of Liverpool played host to the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008.

As I write this, ‘I Kissed A Girl’ is ironically playing on the radio behind me. Katy Perry was the hostess of the awards and as well as winning the new act award, she wore a staggering 10 outfits!

She opened the show by singing ‘I Kissed A Girl’ wearing an American footballer’s kit riding a giant chapstick – this girl sure likes to make a grand entrance!

Apart from the very low and revealing neckline, this sparkly baby-pink dress is very pretty.

If you haven’t realised yet, Katy isn’t satisfied with wearing normal designer dresses but dares to be different and individual. This half-tuxedo half-prom dress costume is a great example of that.

If there’s one thing you should learn from this post, it’s that Katy Perry has not just taken the music world by storm, but the fashion world too. With her quirky style, catchy music and fun personality, what’s not to like?
