Tonight: The British Fashion Awards 2008

Tonight, the RHS Lawrence Hall will be transformed into a glittering, gilt ballroom – a fitting backdrop to the fashion industry’s ultimate night of celebration: The British Fashion Awards 2008, compèred by Mariella Frostrup.

Following an exclusive champagne reception and dinner, more than 500 guests will toast the recipients of the ultimate accolades of the British fashion industry, presented by VIPs from fashion, film and music.

With Stephen Jones unveiled as the winner of the BFC Award for outstanding achievement in Fashion Design, and the nominees for the other 10 awards now announced, everyone’s talking about who’ll take home the Swarovski crystal gong in each of the categories.

The British Fashion Awards recognise designers at every stage of their careers, from newcomers to the established, as well as creatives and models.

This year introduces two new Emerging Talent Awards, supported by Swarovski
