Wurstsalon ♥ PONYBOMB

All of you out there now know what to do on new year’s eve, in case you’re living your dire existence in the capital of Austria. Over the next three days, I’ll confront you with the headliners of the last Wurstsalon 2008. Swiss mashup combo Ponybomb is up first.

2004 formed DJ team Ponybomb isn’t easy to tag in musical genre terms. They basically play everything from Disco to Minimal Tech, Funk, Hiphop, Jazz and Electro – “minimal or maximal, the right moment for mood changes is the key for a successful party”. Wise words by David Suivez and Cedric Gentil, who got together in 2004 to form Ponybomb.

Good decision by the two Swiss guys, who made themselves quite a name in the meantime, toured through Europe (and played at Vienna’s Badeschiff on Nov 20th), supported acts like Digitalism, Midnight Juggernauts or SebastiAn and recently started to produce their own tracks. Be prepared for some Zürich style tunes on your chosen dancefloor in 2009!

Ponybomb is gonna headline the Electro floor at 2008’s last Wurstsalon, support is amongst others coming from Grazian girl power combo Etepetete – full lineup including timetable will be published on Monday exclusively here.
