springnine – The kick off and the progress
Yes, i do like the Spring Festival because of it´s unique opportunity to get in touch with so many great DJs and Producers from all kinds of Electronic Music. Except the Schranz and Hardstyle Scene and a few other ones which i don´t like. But that doesn´t matter, and after the second night of mayhem, I thought to report what happened.

The Electronic Beats Opening Day was stuffed with a bunch of well known Artists and some of them had their first time in Austria. So the Place to be was the Kasematten Bühne, which is one of the greatest Venues in Austria, to head out for the likes of Gossip, Fever Ray or the local Electronic Heroes Fiago. Things started in the Afternoon but we´ve arrived a little late. It was that time, when Gossip played their last Song. Which was very disappointing, because there was no proper
announcement that they have changed the Timetable, and I think there were many Kids who got pissed by this decision.

Fever Ray afterwards was worth to stay there. What an astonishing and breathtaking Show. Welcome to the Dark Side could
be their Credo. And it was very dark. By the way, it was also their wish to play that last Slot. And those who stayed knew
now the reason why. But again, Fever Ray brings you on the Dark Side. The whole Setting, the lights and their obscure Sound isn´t everyones taste.
So many People left the Area to head over to the other Venues of the Springnine Festival. And Dom im Berg was probably the Place to be, with the star studded Line Up and a Headliner called Mr. Oizo. But if you have expected some flat beats, then you definitely did not like his Set. Oizo (who is a chain smoker, I promise) brought us proper
hard electro Stuff to make the Clubkids insane. At the End of the Set hey played some Fake Blood Samples and Mixes
to made a link to whats next. But before Mr. Blood himself start to spin the tables, there was Boy 8 Bit and
who did it. Good Party, DJs with great Skillz, but the Vibe wad not that amazing.
The next day, Dom im Berg was the place to be again. And was it worth? It was. To see Laurent Garnier for the first time Live was such a great thing. The French Techno Producer Legend impressed from the first seconds til the end.
Things will go on today with the likes of The Whip, Mixhell, Acid Kids, Tosca and a very special Surprise Guest. Rumors are around, but we aren´t allowed to announce it;)
Ps.: Our own Pix will arrive soon.
