LuLo and his triangle go outtaspace

words by christina burger

Lucas Logan everybody. Model and blogger from the golden coast of Los Angeles, a long raven haired 19 year old it-boy from the city of angels. He isn’t only blogging for SKIR, but also for New York-based style hotspotsite www.fashionindie.com. LuLo – I just gave him that name spontaneously as it reminds me of LA-fellow-starlet Lindsay Lohan’s nickname LiLo – mainly blogs about the LA scene. The two Ls of his name are integrated in the HOLLYWOOD sign, the place of Lucas’ fashion playground.

Striking the pose

Once in a while LuLo is strutting down the catwalk for LA-label American Apparel or he does the odd fashion shoot. His style is rather eccentric, his trademark is the headband. The male LA-version of New York socialite’s Blair Waldorf in a way. Blair likes her headband proper, whereas LuLo likes it more casual and kinda ripped. I guess it is the prepiness of New York which clashes with LA’s casual easy-going-lifestyle. And his clothes are a nice mix of Aztec patterned jumpers and the slim-jeans-leather-jacket-rock’n’roll outfit, accessorized with chunky golden jewellery.

Blogging, twittering, a sweet addiction

Lucas is out there in the cyberworld, giving his all to get out of the woodwork and conquer the eternal realms of internet fame. The image he conveys is the following: he is a party kid. Preferably hanging out at fashion parties, he enjoys getting to know other blogging style icons, sipping drinks with them on LA rooftops during events like the LA-fashionweek or gigging the night away in IT-LA-nightclub Cinespace. Clever place to be, cause innit that Cory Kennedy was spotted and made famous there. It was geeky-slash-cool party-photographer Mark the Cobrasnake who was making pictures of her partying in and on the floor of Cinespace.

Furthermore LuLo is twittering about his everyday-life. Together with young fresh-faced New York-blogger Hillary Frazier they are “The Felines” in Twitter heaven. The West Coast is gearing up with the East Coast, both of them have the looks to kill, they are cool cats, felines meaning cats.

Follow them kids, they might go far. And Lucas isn’t just contributing at PAPER mag and perhaps soon to be shot for its fashion pages, but he is also a gifted snap-shot-style-photograper. I especially like the pictures of his Christmas road trip along the West Coast, which can be found on www.itslucaslogan.com Love the ghost-like-ness of the palm trees and the shot of the house of the colourful triangles on that house wall, Uh yeah, the triangle is Lucas’ symbol number one, he has got a tattoo of one and it grazes many of his online-adventures. Awright peeps, keep stalking that kid by checking out all of his online-appearances, cause knowing and partying with him and his posse is a blast for sure!
