The unforgettable Fire
There are at least two remarkable Moments in a Rock Show. It´s the thing you will never forgt when things get started with the Intro and Opener Song, and then it´s important that the closer is a blast. So here are some great show closing Moments in the last 20 years.
Brit Pop No.1 Darlings Blur played last Night their first of two Hyde Park Shows. And for those who weren´t in the Audience to sing a long this Magical Song, the Video above show up what you´ve missed. Tonight Show is Sold Out, but if you hurry up, you´ve probably catch a Ticket there. And because of the rubbish quality, I´ve added the 2003 Reading Festival Video too.
First of all, look to his Suit. I really wana have this, it´s gorgeous. Brandon Flowers and his boys at the Glastonbury Festival 2007 as Headliner after they impressed the Godfather of Glasto, Michael Eavis in 2005. I was looking around for the 2005 Video, but there is only the 2007 and 2004 Video on Youtube. If you have a link, don´t hesitate to post it. I would highly appreciate it.
Anyway, so their best closing Song “All that things i´ve done” is totally amazing at Glastonbury.
Next one is U2 under a blood red sky in Denver 1984. With their epic Song “40″, they set a great Moment in the History of Live Music. The Red Rocks Amphitheatre is the perfect Ambiente for them to show their great Live Skills.
They are currently touring the Universe after touring the Angel in 2005. This Video is from 1998 where they played somewhere in South America. “Never let me down again”, the handshaking beast of a Song was often choosen by them as the closer. Which is indeed a real good choice. I remember that my hands were aching hours later after their Show in Graz 2006.
And at the End, because of the fact that the Boss cames to town (Vienna, July 5th), there is some “Thunder Road” from his overwhelming Live in Barcelona 2002 DVD. This is probably the No.1 Closing Song of all Time and a Classic Moment. Thats it. And I promise that I did not post more nostalgic stuff in the next Weeks;)
Ps.: If you know more great Moments or can´t deal with them above, post your Vids or links by Comment.
